Action started early for the Cardinals as bowlers from around the state met at Hilo Lanes early Saturday morning.
The Cardinal girls, having an almost completely reconstructed team, did well playing against strong competitors.
The Cardinal boys team has been growing fame ever since their start four years ago.
Our team swept the tournament.
Dalton Kaitoku-Lucas, scoring a 573 in the morning session, won the title of third place. In the afternoon, with a score of 567, Kapono Bertilacci defeated his way into third place.
St. Joseph Senior Aldyn Dalere bypassed all the competition and won the tournament, scoring 642 in the morning session, with a high game of 232. He scored 556 In the afternoon portion, he got a major total of 556, which made his day's total become 1198. He was a bowling machine.
The whole team did exceptionally great and if you want to see the best bowling on the Big Island, go see these boys play.
